Just Read It.

A teleprompter that lives in your browser. You drive the script; your reader sees it scroll on a separate screen — across the room or across the country — synced live to every move you make.

See it run

Operator drives, reader follows — switch what you're tuning:

01What it does

Two screens, one read

Operator on one screen, reader on another — a phone, a laptop, a monitor in the next room or the next state. Hit play and the reader's screen scrolls in lockstep with you, live.

Tune it to the talent

Reader width, font size, and scroll speed are all live controls. Dial them while they read until the line they need is right where their eyes land — no reload, no restart.

Mirror for the glass

Flip the text horizontally for a teleprompter beam-splitter rig. The reader looks straight down the lens; the mirrored copy reads forward off the angled glass.

Reader fonts, free for all

OpenDyslexic, Lexend, and Atkinson Hyperlegible are built in and free for everyone, on every plan. Accessibility isn't a tier here.

02The ways to use it

Anywhere someone has to say words on cue. A two-person remote read where you drive from your desk and they read from theirs. A host on a confidence monitor at the front of the room. A solo creator running their own prompt to camera. Or a reader who just reads easier in a font built for it. One tool, every read.

Two-person remote

You're in one city, your talent's in another. You hold the script and the controls; they get a clean full-screen read that follows you in real time.

Host on a confidence monitor

Run the room from the floor. Push the read to a monitor under the lens or at the lip of the stage and pace it to the live moment.

Solo to camera

One laptop, one phone. Operate and read from the same setup — you're the whole crew, and the prompt keeps up.

Accessibility

Switch the reader to a font that reads easier — dyslexia-friendly, high-legibility, low-vision. Set it for the talent before the take; it costs nothing.

03Works offline

no wifi · no problem · anywhere

Connect a monitor and it just runs.

Plug a second screen into your laptop over HDMI, USB-C, or Sidecar — your laptop drives the read, the monitor shows it, and there's no internet in the loop at all.

Dead venue, basement set, the back of a truck — it doesn't matter. If you can connect a screen, Just Read It works. The whole thing runs on the one machine in front of you.

$Membership

Just Read It is a Starting Frame membership tool — part of the production toolkit. The reader screen needs no account; share the link and your talent reads. (Cue's motion-graphics tools stay free for everyone.)
