motion design · free

Background.

A motion-design generator — drifting fields of shapes you composite into an edit, stream, or title card. Pick a shape, set your palette, count, and speed, and render. Quiet motion that never fights the foreground. Free in your browser, export-ready.

01The shape field

A drifting field in your colors — circles, rectangles, or triangles, as many or as few as you want, at the speed you set. Render a clean loop at true 16:9, 9:16, or a 1920×1920 square master you can crop anywhere.

Hit play, then switch the shape:

022D or 3D

Flip a switch and the shapes go dimensional. The three flat shapes become three solid, gently tumbling 3D objects — a cube, a node-geodesic (a rotating web of nodes and connections, for a data / network feel), and a pyramid. Same palette, same drift, same export — just dimensional. They drop into an edit as real comp elements, not flat clip-art.

Toggle 2D ⇄ 3D in the Shape menu inside the tool.

03Built for the edit

Background is made to composite. Export a clean loop, a transparent (alpha) video to lay over your footage, or a luma / depth matte for DaVinci Resolve — key it cleanly, or feed the depth map into Fusion for 3D-feel parallax and depth-of-field. The pieces you build here are meant to drop onto your timeline.
