Blip gives a robot's screen a talking LED face from a subtitle file. Paste an .srt and the face performs the line — a phoneme-approximate mouth, brows that lift on ? and !, and natural idle blinks between lines. Pick one of five looks, tune it, and export a clean 16:9 MP4 to drop onto your character's screen in Blender or DaVinci Resolve. It runs entirely in your browser — offline, no AI, no account.
Drop your .srt into the Dialogue box, or Load .srt file. The face lip-syncs each line across its timecode — vowels open, m/b/p close, o/u round — and brows lift on questions and exclamations. Try Sample line to see it in motion.
With nothing loaded, the face idles with a subtle smirk, a smile beat, and blinks — a seamless 6-second loop. Great for a calm, alive robot between lines.
Use ▶ to play and the scrubber to move through the performance. The read-out under the screen shows the current line.

Smooth glowing rounded-rect eyes and a simple mouth, no dots — the friendly Anki-Vector / Wall-E-Eve look. Set the eyes cyan for the classic.
Pick an aspect, then resolution (how many pixels), bubble size (the dot size), and glow. The unlit-LEDs toggle gives the Grain look faint dark dots so the panel reads as a screen even when off.
Set the eyes, eyebrows, and mouth colours independently — early-LED green and amber by default. Grain and Smear keep the screen black so the face self-mattes.
Talk energy sets how much the mouth moves; blink often sets the idle blink rate.
Click Render & export MP4. Blip renders a clean, flat 16:9 H.264 MP4 with your face fit-centered on black — the margins read as unlit screen / bezel. It imports directly into Blender and DaVinci Resolve.
Add an Image Texture node, open the MP4 as a Movie (enable Auto Refresh), and plug Color into an Emission shader — strength 4–20 to taste. For Grain and Smear, the black cells emit nothing, so the face reads as lit pixels on a dark screen, no alpha needed.
Why 16:9? DaVinci Resolve's decoder can red-error non-16:9 H.264, so every export is normalised to a DaVinci-safe 16:9 frame with the face centered. A pixel-exact, native-aspect texture package is on the way.
