A building-facade generator — ordered floors, randomly lit windows, and a clean 3-level displacer. Set the grid, decide how the building lights up, mask out a section, and export four maps that drop straight onto a building in Blender, DaVinci Resolve, or a game engine. Free in your browser, no watermark.
Every generate makes four aligned maps from the same building: Color (concrete, unlit windows, and lit windows in your palette), Height (a 3-level displacer), Normal (fine relief), and Emission (the lit windows only, for glow). Switch between them with the tabs above the preview; each downloads as a PNG up to 8K.
The height map uses exactly three values — black = concrete, grey = lights off, white = lights on. Three flat levels, not a soft gradient, so window relief stays crisp when you displace in Blender or read the map as a depth pass in Resolve. Set each level in the Displacer panel, and flip Invert if you want the windows to recess instead of stand proud.
Ordered floors and columns give you the grid; then you decide how it lights up. Row variation makes floors different heights so windows come in a variety of sizes. Lit odds set how many windows are on; run length clusters them into streaky horizontal bands; dark floors leave some floors mostly unlit. A lit-window palette tints the glow — add, remove, or randomize the colors. Change the seed for a whole new building with the same settings.
Drag on the preview to blank a region to concrete — a billboard, a storefront base, a blank wall, or a setback. Add as many masks as you want; the building underneath stays the same. Undo last and Clear masks are in the Mask panel. The orange guide you see while masking is only on screen — it never exports; your maps come out clean.
The maps are built to drop onto geometry: height for displacement, normal for detail, emission for glowing windows, and color for the base. Use them on a plane, a box, or a whole skyline — perfect for a night-city establishing shot, a game background, or a matte painting. A dedicated Facadr add-on that builds the building and applies the maps for you is coming.
Generate and download at no cost — full resolution, no watermark. Sign in once (Google, Microsoft, or email) to use it; it's free, and it adds you to the newsletter.
Then drop the maps into Blender, DaVinci Resolve, Unreal, Unity — anywhere you build.
