Facadr — free building-facade maps, no sign-up

Facadr — the building facade generator.

Facadr builds procedural building facades — ordered floors, randomly lit windows, and a clean 3-level displacer (concrete, lights-off, lights-on). Generate color, height, normal, and emission maps in your browser and drop them onto any building in Blender, DaVinci Resolve, or your game engine.

What it does.

Four maps, one facade

Color, a 3-level height displacer, normal, and a separate emission map for glowing windows — everything you need to surface a building, generated together from the same facade.

Ordered floors, random windows

Set the floor and window grid, add row variation so floors differ in height (windows come in a variety of sizes), then dial lit odds, run-length for streaky bands, and dark floors — a facade that reads real, not a repeating tile.

A crisp 3-level displacer

The height map uses exactly three values — black concrete, grey lights-off, white lights-on — so window relief stays sharp for displacement in Blender or a depth pass in DaVinci Resolve.

Mask out a section

Drag on the preview to blank a region to concrete — a billboard, storefront base, blank wall, or setback — and export up to 8K. Free — no account, no watermark, no resolution cap; signing in (also free) just saves your work and adds you to our newsletter.

Questions.

What does Facadr make?

Four maps for a building facade: color, height (a clean 3-level displacer), normal, and emission (lit windows only, for glow).

Is the building-facade generator free?

Yes — Facadr is free and use-first: generate and download with no account, at no cost, with no watermark and no resolution cap. Signing in (also free) just saves your work and adds you to our newsletter.

Does it work with Blender?

Yes — use the height map for displacement, the normal map for detail, the emission map for glowing windows, and the color map for the base. A dedicated Facadr add-on that builds the building and applies the maps for you is coming.

Can I control which windows are lit?

Yes — lit odds, run-length (for streaky bands), and dark-floor controls, plus a lit-window color palette, decide exactly how the building lights up.

Can I blank out a section?

Yes — drag on the preview to mask a region to concrete for a billboard, storefront, or blank wall. The on-screen mask guide never exports; only the clean maps do.
