Blender add-on · product photography · $39 one-time

A product-photography studio in Blender, in one click.

Studio Stage spawns a full product-photography studio — a seamless sweep, a calibrated four-light softbox rig, and a full-frame camera — then hands you curated controls to color it, light it, and shoot your own product. Phone to car, one rig. EEVEE + Cycles, bring your own HDRI.

What you make.

The sweep is one continuous surface and the light rig is calibrated — so a click changes the whole backdrop, palette, or mood. A few looks, all straight renders, no compositing:

How it works.

A complete studio without building lights and backdrops by hand — just bring your product.

One button builds the studio

Click Build Studio and a seamless sweep, a four-light softbox rig, and a full-frame camera appear — a complete product set, ready to shoot.

Shoot your own product, any scale

Point it at your object with Use My Object and the whole rig sizes around it. Two stage modes cover everything from a phone to a car; the lighting holds true.

Curated color, light & finish

Coordinate the whole studio from a palette, tune a calibrated key-master light rig, and set the sweep from flat stucco to a mirror polish — every control live in the viewport.

A real camera, not a preset

One full-frame camera with a live focal-length slider and true depth of field — a real f-stop, an aperture blade count, and curated bokeh presets. Compose by orbiting, then lock the shot.

Bring your own light

Load any HDRI for grounded reflections and ambient fill — strength, rotation, reflections-only. Nothing ships with it; it is yours, on your machine, no lock-in.

Questions.

Is Studio Stage a subscription?

No. Studio Stage is a one-time purchase — $39, yours to keep. Install the zip in Blender and it works forever, on your machine, offline. No subscription, no account required to use it.

What is Studio Stage?

Studio Stage is a Blender add-on that spawns a complete product-photography studio with one click — a seamless sweep backdrop, a calibrated four-light softbox rig, and a full-frame camera. You then color the sweep, dial the lighting, set your lens and depth of field, and render your own product. It turns Blender into a product-photography studio without building lights and backdrops by hand.

Which Blender versions and render engines does it support?

Studio Stage runs in Blender 4.x and works in both EEVEE and Cycles. EEVEE gives you instant, near-final looks; Cycles adds the last few percent of reflection and shadow accuracy.

Does it come with HDRIs?

No — it is bring-your-own-HDRI by design. Load any HDRI you already have for grounded reflections and ambient fill, at any strength and rotation, or use the built-in calibrated light rig on its own. Nothing is bundled, nothing phones home; your files stay on your machine.

Can I shoot large products, not just small ones?

Yes. The whole rig scales as a unit — lights, sweep, and camera move together — with two stage modes, Small Products and Life-size. It auto-jumps to Life-size for objects taller than about 0.9 m, so the same one-button setup shoots a phone or a car with the lighting holding true.

Do I need to know studio lighting to use it?

No. The four-light rig is calibrated as a key-master: set one Brightness and the fill, rim, and overhead follow as photographic stops. Start from a one-click lighting look, or dial global and per-light temperature by hand when you want to.
